About the event

Is political violence rising in the U.S.? Should this be treated as terrorism? Or does it reveal something more dangerous in American culture? Dan Moy, a domestic terrorism expert who teaches in Batten, was a friend of Melissa Hortman, Speaker of the Minnesota House (D) who was murdered this June, and Gerard Alexander from UVA Politics Dept will talk about free speech and the dangers of extreme rhetoric.
